RGB was captured during only about 38 min from bortle 7.
Main image is SHO and has SNR of 150. Then there are RGB version and RGB annotation
Panel A: SHO

Processing:
RGB are combined.
Cropping for Ha, O3, S2 and RGB
DBE for Ha, O3, S2 and RGB. This step is critical to avoid subtracting nebulosity. Just 5 squares (50 size) were used in DBE.
Color Colib for RGB
Blur and Noise XT for Ha, O3, S2 and RGB
Star XT for RGB. RGB stars were kept.

Manual stretching (with HT) for Ha, O3, S2, RGB (no stars), and RGB-stars (two different streatching for RGB and SHO images)
Stretched RGB-stars were saved as two files (more and lesser stretched)

RGB no stars were masked by Lum.
Local Histogram Equalization: Kernel radius of 40 and 150
Multiscale-median transform for sharpness; strong 0.4-0.5 setting.
Curves: brightness is manipulated
Mask off.
Added RGB stars.

Stretched again.
Star XT. These stars were not kept.
Played with Hue-Saturation until final image. Foraxx was OKish.. PixelMath was not used.
Lum for SHO was used as mask

Multiscale-median transform for sharpness; strong 0.4 setting.
Curves: brightness is manipulated

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
